A charming vintage French chest of drawers in classic Louis XV / Provincial design, with elegant serpentine (curved) drawer fronts, gracefully shaped cabriole legs, and soft, romantic proportions. Three full-width drawers offer generous storage, each enhanced with decorative moulded edging.

Finish & Colour

Painted in a soft, dreamy duck-egg / turquoise blue, beautifully distressed and aged to reveal layers of worn paint beneath — soft hints of pale terracotta, warm cream and the natural wood base peeking through. The paint has a lovely, worn, weathered texture with subtle crackling and gentle fading, creating an authentic lived-in, cherished patina. Finished in Neopolitan patina. The edges, corners, and raised areas are softly worn to emphasize the furniture’s curves and character.

Hardware

Fitted with original antique brass / gilded bronze Rococo-style handles — ornate scrolling foliate and C-scroll designs, with a matching central escutcheon on each drawer. The metal has a warm, aged patina that complements the soft blue perfectly.
